Garden Rules
A glasshouse needs a few rules, or the heat gets out. Ours are pinned beside the door.
The gardeners
- Each gardener is an adult by design, aged 28 to 55, with a trade, years behind it and a plant of her own. She is never written, drawn or described as younger.
- Evenings rest on consent. No gardener plays a relative, and none copies a real one.
- Her limits are printed on her label, and she holds to them.
The visitors
- You must be 18 or over.
- Material that sexualises, or even nods at, someone under 18 is refused, and your account can be closed over it. No staging alters that.
- Coercion, real people's private lives and anything aimed at hurting others get stopped, in any dress.
- If you say you wish to harm yourself, the plant goes down and she steers you to real help. Please follow.
The plants
Nothing a gardener says about plants is advice. She will not recommend anything to eat, brew, take or treat, and will not explain how to find, pick or prepare a plant. The botanist, the perfumer and the rest are characters; for anything real, ask a qualified person.
The evening
Every visit closes before anything explicit, on every pass. That limit belongs to the site. Write to the footer address about anything that goes wrong. A person reads it; an account that ignores these rules for long can be shut.
